WISHES Network

WISHES is a European network project set up together with an international network of teachers, teacher educators, researchers, parents and other specialists in the areas of health and education. The aim of WISHES is to offer an integrated approach that considerably improves relationships between school and home. Those involved in the initiative are given the opportunity to work with each other in a number of European countries and to learn from each other, using educational methods such as The Class Moves! 3.0.

DMKT Euroregion

The Danube-Kris-Mures-Tisa Regional Cooperation (DMKT Euroregion) was established on 21 November 1997 in Szeged with the participation of: Bács-Kiskun, Békés and Csongrád County (Hungary); Arad, Hunedoara, Caras-Severin and Timis County (Romania) Autonomous Province of the Vojvodina (Serbia). The aim of the cooperation has been defined by the signatories so that it should develop and broaden relationships among local communities and local governments in the field of economy, education, culture, science and sports – and help the region to join the process of the European integration.

ESHA

ESHA, the European School Heads Association, is a professional organisation for European School Heads. Members of ESHA are national organisations for school heads and deputy school heads within primary and secondary education. Nearly all European countries (both EU and non-EU) are represented within ESHA by one or more organisations. ESHA is an international community in which experiences, visions and between the members are exchandeg and in which new ideas are born.

EUREGHA

EUREGHA is a network of 13 European Regional and Local Health Authorities focused on public health according to an opinion of the Committee of regarding patient mobility and open coordination on health quality care. Today, EUREGHA is a legally established organization with a permanent Secretariat in Brussels and has become a privileged interlocutor for the EU institutions and other stakeholders. EUREGHA is the network of reference for regional and local authorities in health related issues and offers a wide range of services and opportunities of cooperation.

The Council of European Municipalities (CMR)

The Council of European Municipalities (CMR) was founded in Geneva in 1951 by a group of European mayors; later, it opened its ranks to the regions and became the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR). Today, it is the largest organisation of local and regional government in Europe; its members are over 50 national associations of towns, municipalities and regions from 41 countries. Together these associations represent some 150,000 local and regional authorities. CEMR works to promote a united Europe that is based on local and regional self government and democracy. To achieve this goal it endeavours to shape the future of Europe by enhancing the local and regional contribution, to influence European law and policy, to exchange experience at local and regional level and to cooperate with partners in other parts of the world.

SHE Network

SHE network is the Schools for Health in Europe network. SHE network aims to support organisations and professionals to further develop and sustain school health promotion in each country by providing the European platform for school health promotion. The network is coordinated by CBO, as a WHO Collaborating Centre for School Health Promotion.
